The students create an animal fact sheet on an animal of their choice that contains the information about that animal (ex - picture, habitat, adaptations, sample food chain they are a part of etc. It can be designed on the computer using this template. (click here for the worksheet)

Word Sort/Dump & Clump Food Chain/Web Activity
Show Power Point starting with word sort/dump and clump pre-assessment activity to get them ready for lesson on food chains and food webs. Food Chains Activity - Kids Corner
Activity Instructions:
1. Go to the following website Food Chains - Kids Corner. Click on the different headings; Producers/Consumers, Food Chains, Bigger Chains, Decomposers, Photosynthesis to learn about these concepts. Then play the food chain game to test your knowledge by clicking on the game icon. Drag the parts of the food chain to the correct place, and when correct, see it come to life!!
