Free Super Teacher Worksheets Food Chain & Ecosystem Worksheets:
This site features thousands of printable PDF High-quality, educational materials for students in grades K-5 (great for students on IPP’s).  The collections include reading comprehension passages, educational board games, graphic organizers, handwriting practice pages, educational card games, flashcards, and manipulative teaching materials.

Energy Pyramid animation:
Energy Pyramid animation that goes through the amount of energy available at each trophic level for 3 different ecosystems (Forest, Prairie & Ocean).  Has great descriptions with audio and visuals.
Enviro-Tacklebox
Enviro-Tacklebox is a video series, designed for middle school students, that focuses on environmental education topics. The goals of the series are to stimulate student interest in environmental issues and develop critical thinking skills to support decision making. The series consists of five modules, each containing five episodes. Each module has lessons, a teacher guide, and student activities.

Animal Fact Sheet Poster Template

The students create an animal fact sheet on an animal of their choice that contains the information about that animal (ex - picture, habitat, adaptations, sample food chain they are a part of etc. It can be designed on the computer using this template. (click here for the worksheet)

Science 7: Exploring an Ecosystem Ecology Study Project

Here is a student worksheet for an "Exploring an Ecosystem Ecology Study Project." The students mark off an area 2m by 2m and gather information on their ecosystem. Click here for the worksheet.

Word Sort/Dump & Clump Food Chain/Web Activity

Show Power Point starting with word sort/dump and clump pre-assessment activity to get them ready for lesson on food chains and food webs. Lesson then proceeds into an introduction of food chains then gets students create four different food chains each at least four organisms long and record them on their handout. In inspiration, create a concept map of the new terms you learned and illustrate how they connect!
